Steven (Meat):
Meet Steven, our skilled butcher with a lifelong dedication to the meat industry. With a journey that began at the age of 14, Steven refined his craft at distinguished butcher shops across the UK. Before returning to the North East to establish Block & Bottle, he developed a passion for charcuterie at West London’s Hook and Cleaver. Steven is a master of his craft, having soaked up knowledge from mentors throughout his career.

Katie (Beer):
With five years of experience coordinating major events, Katie brings an expert knowledge of catering for lavish parties, emphasizing the highest quality produce from top-notch suppliers. Working closely with renowned British chefs, including Angela Hartnett, Katie has delivered first-class experiences at events. Her extensive travels across the UK, Europe, and America have allowed her to seek out the very best craft breweries, enriching Block & Bottle’s beer selection.

Ellie (Production Manager):
Joining the team at the start of the first lockdown, Ellie is the driving force behind our production facility and catering side of the business. Having worked at some of Newcastle’s top independent food establishments, including Cook House, Barrio Comida, and Northern Rye, Ellie brings a passion for great food and exceptional organizational skills to Block & Bottle.

Together, Steven, Katie, and Ellie form a dynamic team dedicated to delivering a gastronomic experience that transcends expectations.
